Curriculum & Resource Guidebooks
The Passport Program Curriculum and Resource Guidebooks are a set of six comprehensive manuals containing over 500 documents. The Passport Program has translated four years and approximately $1 million worth of effort to establish the first accredited degree program in the nation for students with intellectual and learning disabilities into six comprehensive manuals. The guidebooks contain over 500 documents—from admission interviews to courses to assessments.

The four Curriculum Guidebooks triangulate academics, social/life skills, and workplace development with 52 courses and three tutorials. Course materials include syllabi, content and outcomes appropriate for curriculum or coordinating boards, along with many lesson plans, student work examples, handouts, faculty resources, rubrics, and course-specific materials.

Resource Guide 5 helps you develop the program administratively. Topics include application and admission information, degree procedures and requirements, grant information including model demonstration, faculty and parent support training and information, evaluation forms, accreditation information, student work examples, and more.

Resource Guide 6 includes the Passport Alternative Assessment System and all related assessment materials including skills and performance indicators. Passport's assessment system with its 13 Skill Sets and corresponding performance indicators are based on U.S. Department of Labor’s SCAN Skills (Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills).
